Who Was Saul of Tarsus?
heres a real heartbreaker, as if the fibs, exaggerations, and blatant plagiarism from other mystical texts run amok didnt already destroy any shred of credibility (in the very least, as an ideology) the Bible had left, the very man who wrote half the New Testament was a Pharisee. the same Pharisees Jesus was so critical of and they of he, the same Pharisees Jesus confronted on numerous instances throughout the Bible. the same Pharisees who "taught laws of man and not of God". the same Pharisees who said Jesus was bastard born of a whore and that he is a warlock boiling in hot excrement in hell. the same Pharisees who brought to us the most vile and wretched piece of filth literature ever conceived in the Talmud. and not only was Saul a Pharisee, but he was also taught by Galmiel.
"Saul was raised in Jerusalem and taught by Gamaliel, a doctor of the law. Gamaliel was well respected by the people and was considered the greatest teacher of the day. Saul was taught the perfect manner of the law, by Gamaliel."
the same Saul who never even met Jesus, who saw him in a dream. this isnt to underscore the ideology of Jesus as a person, but its hard to argue that this religion was doomed from its manifestation to be a vessel of control and manipulation.
Acts 23:6- But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
Acts 22:3- I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
